Community & Impact
At the Okanagan Society of Interior Designers (OSID), supporting our community extends beyond the design industry. We believe in using our collective reach, resources, and connections to make a positive impact throughout the Okanagan and surrounding communities.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
OSID Gives Back
Giving back is an important part of who we are. Through charitable contributions, community initiatives, and partnerships, we are proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities where our members live and work.
Adaptive Adventures
“As a small local non-profit, we simply could not do what we do without the generosity of people like those at OSID. Your donation helped people get outdoors who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience our beautiful trails, lakes and landscapes. It created brighter days, meaningful experiences and lasting memories for so many people.
Thank you for being the kind of people who believe that what we do matters.”

CMHA Kelowna & District
“In 2025, the Okanagan Society of Interior Designers generously donated the proceeds of their annual trade show to support mental health in our community. Their gift is fueling programs that provide resources and care when local families need it most. From walk-in counselling to housing services to wraparound care for youth, their investment is making a difference. OSID also took their commitment to mental health further, contracting our Community Education Coordinator to provide training for their members on how to navigate and manage stress and burnout. Thank you, OSID!”

Habitat for Humanity Okanagan
“Having groups like OSID bring people together for Habitat for Humanity Okanagan is so important to our mission. Their donations contribute to something that has a lasting and directly support our work to create affordable homeownership opportunities here in the Okanagan. Thank you for being a part of creating homes where local families can put down roots and children have a safe home to grow up in.
We rely on our community to help make this possible, and we’re grateful to OSID for being part of that work.
Together, we build!”
