  • Meeting package: The notice of meeting, agenda, financial statements, proposed budget and proxy form are emailed to all members at least 14 days before the meeting. Any special resolutions are described in the notice.

Voting members can view minutes of past general meetings and the Society’s financial statements on request.

  1. Check your standing. Only Registered Interior Design members and Associate members in good standing can vote. That means your dues are paid and you still meet the requirements for your membership class. Renew before the AGM.
  2. Register on the OSID website. Registering helps us plan the venue.
  3. Review your package. Read the agenda, financials and any special resolutions when they arrive by email.
  4. Can’t attend? Voting members may vote by proxy. Complete and sign the proxy form in your package and send it to the Administrator before the meeting.

What to Expect

Every meeting is run to the same format and timing.

Check-in: Sign in when you arrive. Voting members receive a voting paddle so votes can be counted clearly.

The President chairs the meeting. Every vote result is announced and recorded in the minutes.

After the meeting: CEU certificates are emailed to attendees. OSID files its annual report and updated list of Directors with the BC Registry.
